International Data Transfers

Some service providers used by Easycut may process or store personal data outside Switzerland.

Where personal data is transferred abroad, Easycut seeks to use providers and safeguards appropriate under applicable Swiss data protection law.

The level of protection available in another country may differ from that available in Switzerland.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Easycut may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the operation, security, login functionality and preferences of the website.

Additional technologies may also be used for functions such as analytics or other website services where these are implemented.

Users may be able to manage certain cookies through their browser or through any cookie settings made available on Easycut.

Cookies can be used for essential website functions but may also allow user activity to be analysed or tracked, so their use must be described transparently.

9. Email Communications

Easycut may send emails that are necessary to operate the service, including:

registration and email confirmation messages;

password reset messages;

account notifications;

booking-related messages;

payment or payout-related notifications;

security and support communications.

Acceptance of this Privacy Policy does not automatically subscribe a user to newsletters or promotional marketing.

Where marketing communications are offered, they should be handled separately and users should be given the appropriate choice.

10. Sensitive Personal Data

Users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information through public profiles or chat.

Where information relevant to the safe performance of a beauty treatment is communicated, it should only be shared where necessary and with appropriate care.

Easycut does not treat acceptance of the general Privacy Policy as blanket consent for unlimited processing of health information or other sensitive personal data.

11. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to legal, accounting, contractual and dispute-related obligations.

Different categories of data may therefore have different retention periods.

For example, certain transaction or accounting information may need to be retained for longer than ordinary profile information or communications.

Closing an account does not necessarily require the immediate deletion of information that must be retained for legal reasons or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

12. Security

Easycut takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

However, no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and should notify Easycut if they suspect unauthorised access to their account.

13. Your Rights

Subject to applicable Swiss law, you may have rights concerning your personal data, including the right to:

request information about whether Easycut processes personal data concerning you;

request access to personal data concerning you;

request correction of inaccurate data;

request deletion of data where legally applicable;

object to or raise concerns about certain processing;

request the release or transfer of personal data where the applicable legal conditions are met.

The Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner confirms that individuals may request information about data being processed about them and, where appropriate, request correction or deletion.

Requests may be sent to:

info@easycut.ch

Easycut may need to verify your identity before responding to a request.

14. Account Deletion

Users may request the closure of their Easycut account.

Account closure does not automatically erase information that Easycut must retain because of legal, accounting, payment, fraud-prevention or dispute-related requirements.

Where data is no longer required and no legal basis for its retention remains, it may be deleted or anonymised as appropriate.

15. Children

Easycut is not intended to be used by children who are not legally able to create an account or enter into the relevant agreements independently.

Where age restrictions are required for particular services, professionals remain responsible for complying with the legal and professional requirements applicable to those services.

16. Third-Party Websites

Easycut may contain links to external websites or services.

Easycut is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third-party websites.

Users should review the privacy information of those providers separately.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Easycut may update this Privacy Policy when the platform, applicable law or data processing activities change.

The current version and date will be published on this page.

Material changes may be communicated to registered users where appropriate.

18.
